Not only is The Rock School KK teaching music, they're also focusing on dance classes nowadays. Following their Musical Theatre Programme recently launched, the school has once again stepped out from their comfort zone, now offering classes on BBoy or Breakdancing as they commercially call it.
Recently they had a free introductory BBoy class held on the 28th of March 2010. The reception was great and many young ones turned out for the free class. Meant for beginners, the free lesson was intended to give the young and inexperienced some basic knowledge on breakdancing.
Bboying is the dance that came from the Bronx Gangsters, but it developed into a dance that stopped fighting due to healthy competition and youngsters developing discipline and healthier lifestyles. The Rock School will begin proper classes on a monthly basis, but expect enrolments for a longer programme to be happening very soon. We will keep you guys updated on this once we get some definite news from the school.
