Artist: Girl's Generation

Album Title: Run Devil Run (Repackaged)

Reviewed by Davelynne Rampas

If you’re a fan of any Korean female group or Gee (not Glee, dear), then this album is a MUST. I’ve got mine from Yesasia.com just a few days ago and was totally electrified! This repackage album also comes with a special poster – a sophisticated ‘Black Soshi’ concept. At least they don’t just come up as another Korean’s twee group.

It has 15 tracks and most of them are fast-tempo. My personal favourite tracks are Oh!, Run Devil Run, Gee!, Echo, Sweet Talking Baby, and Be Happy. So ngam for those who cannot even stand to listen a 3-minute poky song.

My top pick would be Run Devil Run because I’ve listened to Ke$ha version of Run Devil Run last year (which was leaked onto Youtube) and I must say that SNSD sings better than Ke$ha. In fact, Ke$ha recorded the song somewhere in 2008 only as a demo and SM Entertainment bought the right to have SNSD sing Run Devil Run. So you can be rest assured that SNSD doesn’t pass of as their own.

You better run, run, run, run, run, neolmeun sesang manheun namja, neo hana ppajyeo bwatja~
