Surfacing KK's Underground Scenes - Bandwidth Streetpress began as one music fan's dream to release a free Streetpress, both print and web, to his beloved local area.

A free monthly music and entertainment guide, Bandwidth publishes news stories which include the club scene, live music, fashion, the arts and a bundle more.

Our primary objective is to support local artists and venues. International acts will still have their place in this Streetpress, however, our main goal is to help worthy local artists on the map. How often do you see music artists on the other side of the country gets famous in such a short amount of time? It is time that people come to realise Kota Kinabalu, if not Sabah, has the same quality of music. That is why Bandwidth was born.

Bandwidth wants your views (yes you!), on the music industry as well as the entertainment side that Kota Kinabalu has to offer. With online communities such as this, we understand that the Y generation (soon together with the Z generation) demands their information instantly and we at Bandwidth Streetpress are now able to give them that online and in print.

Both print and the web version will cover the usual rounds of news, gigs, features, reviews, polls, columns, photographs, competitions and much more. What is unique about this Streetpress is that its contributors will be people who were born if not raised in Sabah, covering columns, news and doing reviews, everything local.
